Chocolate tarte

Posted on

Hey food lovers!

A very, very long time ago, I got this super cool cake cook book. All the cakes in this book are so beautiful, but not so easy to make. So I share what I made this time.

As I had guests, I wanted to make something I haven’t made before. And as I had lots of chocolate, a choco mini cakes were made!

My best cake cook book.

Sand pastry:

225g wheat flour

100g sugar

100g soft butter

1 egg

2g baking powder

For the filling:

400g dark chocolate

300g whipping cream

100g milk

2 eggs

First make the pastry. Whisk the egg and sugar, add flour and baking powder. Don’t mix for too long cause then the pastry  won’t be so crusty! Put it in a plastic bag and leave in the fridge for at least 12 hours.

Perheat the owen to 180 C degrees. Roll out the pastry, put it in a cake tin. (you can se small ones like I did). Prickle some small holes in the pastry with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes. Take the base out of the tin.

Break the chocolate into small peaces. Boil the cream and milk together. Pour it over the chocolate and mix. Add whisked eggs.

Now decrease the temperature for oven to 160 C degrees. Put the chocolate mass into the baked tarte base. Bake for 4 minutes. Then leave it to cool down in the oven. Decorate as you wish, I used ground cherries.  Eat cold.
